Diagnostic and Operative Laparoscopy

A minimally invasive surgical procedure in which a laparoscope (a thin tube with a camera and light) and specialized surgical instruments are inserted through small incisions in the abdomen. The abdomen is inflated with gas to provide a clear view of the pelvic organs, including the uterus, fallopian tubes, and ovaries. It is used to diagnose and treat conditions such as ovarian cysts, endometriosis, ectopic pregnancy, pelvic adhesions, fibroids, infertility issues, and tubal disorders.
